Maybelline Website Re-Design

Maybelline New York is the number one global cosmetics brand and is available in over 129 countries worldwide. Their global team sought a vibrant and modern re-design of the current Maybelline online experience for their global customers. I was brought on this project to help implement the refreshed design system and design a flexible page for consumers to explore and learn more about their franchise collections.

Filtering

To streamline the diverse range of products within franchises, I designed a flexible filtering system aimed at offering users a top-level overview of the product assortment within the franchise. When a user selects a specific finish or benefit, they are seamlessly directed to the respective section containing product cards below, creating an efficient navigation experience.

Product Cards

Within each franchise, there are four cards: a product card, key visual, product feature highlights, and a supporting visual relevant to the category. Product cards showcase popular colors, with the ability to dynamically update the product image when a different color is selected. Users can explore additional color options by selecting "Additional Colors," which directs them to the product detail page. Additionally, each product card includes a "<Try it on>" CTA, allowing users to experience the try-it-on feature for the selected product.
